MISSION KATERI RECEIVES DONATION OF A VEHICLE FROM THE PADRE PIO FOUNDATION OF AMERICA

The Padre Pio Foundation of America, through Friends of the Capuchins, donated a vehicle to Misión Kateri A.C. The van was blessed by Father David Beaumont during the Meeting of Animators of the Spiritual Life of the Indigenous Peoples of Sonora, held in the community of El Júpare, Huatabampo.

This vehicle will support various activities aimed at promoting knowledge, strengthening, and disseminating the spirituality and culture of indigenous groups.

Present at the blessing were representatives of the Yoreme Mayo, Yoeme Yaqui, O'ob, Comcáac, Makurawe, and Mixtec peoples.

The president of Misión Kateri A.C., Fano Campoy Burboa, expressed his gratitude for the generosity of The Padre Pío Foundation of America and the participation of Friends of the Capuchins.

Traditional dancers and musicians from El Júpare also participated in the blessing.
